What is a fool?
When the Bible uses the word fool – it is not simply engaging in name-calling. It is describing for us some specific characteristics of foolish living so that we can avoid it. It is preparing us to live a life of wisdom. Thus, it is important for us to see the picture the Bible paints of foolish living. This episode is a bit of a mini-systematic theology of foolishness as we glean from the Bible’s wisdom 10 marks of a fool.
